According to the United Nations World Water Assessment Program Report 2015, the world will have 40% less fresh water than it needs in 15 years. Various factors including population growth and increased urbanization contribute to water demand. Agriculture alone uses about 70% of the worlds fresh water supplies. The 50% of the world relies on groundwater to meet basic daily needs and 20% of the worlds aquifers are already over-exploited.

RiverCri-2016 is a platform to seriously discuss the issue related to water Conservation and management
